The Bangladesh Government’s vision for a ‘Digital Bangladesh’ by 2021 stresses on e-learning, e-systems, IT parks etc. But for any country, enterprises are the first adopter of any technology, which gradually reaches to the common man. The government plans to make Bangladesh a hardware-software manufacturing country with $5bn exports and 1m jobs by 2021, aligning with the vision of ‘Digital Bangladesh’.
In such a scenario, the enterprises in Bangladesh are gearing up to embrace latest technology advancements to support government’s vision. Of course, digital enterprises are the ones who would be the driving force to make Bangladesh a ‘Digital Bangladesh’.
It becomes quite pertinent to see how the enterprises are orchestrating their current and future technology strategies and what are the challenges they are encountering in technology adoption. ‘Digital enterprises for Digital Bangladesh’ would throw light on enterprises’ technology journey to understand how the enterprises are enabling the Government’s vision of a ‘Digital Bangladesh’.
