Ram has over 25 years of global experience and has been responsible for driving large business, process and technology transformations across Americas, Europe, Middle East and Asia. He has personally led over 25+ large digital and technology transformations across the region. He is part of the leadership at IBS Intelligence, the financial technology research unit of Cedar, with clients across 40+ countries.
He has assisted leading financial institutions in evaluating and implementing conventional and cool fintech solutions and has a deep appreciation of 50+ global solution suppliers and service providers. He is the chair for the iconic IBS Sales League Table evaluation panel, ranking global banking technology suppliers, based on 1000+ system purchases reported over 100+ countries.
Ram is a regular speaker at leading global industry events at banking technology user conferences hosted by leading industry players He is a thought leader and writes regularly on a wide range of Financial Technology topics, related to conventional banking technology and new-age disruptive Fintech.
He has program managed large banking integration exercises involving several global banks and has assisted leading PE clients with multiple due diligence exercises and is part of jury panel of a leading Fintech incubator, helping evaluate start-up innovations using disruptive technology. Some of his financial services clients include ADCB, Barclays, Bank Muscat, Bankmed, Bank Rakyat, BNP Paribas, EmiratesNBD, FAB, HDFC Bank, Mashreq bank, Network International, RBL Bank, RBS, T-bank (Turkey) among others.
Prior to the current assignment with Cedar, Ram worked in the Management Consulting Practice of PwC. He is a Postgraduate in Management from BITS Pilani, India. He has completed an executive learning programs at INSEAD Singapore, and at Harvard Business School.
